United Fintech expands in Asia-Pacific with new Singapore office, senior hire and team growth
Stuart Billingham joins as Head of APAC as United Fintech adds local payments expertise and prepares further client announcements in the region
LONDON // SINGAPORE, SEPTEMBER 22, 2026
United Fintech is expanding in Asia-Pacific, moving into a larger Singapore office, appointing Stuart Billingham as Head of APAC, and growing its local team, including new payments expertise.
United Fintech has operated in Singapore since 2020. Citi, Danske Bank, BNP Paribas, Standard Chartered and Barclays are shareholders in the company, giving financial institutions across the region an established, bank-backed partner.
The larger Singapore office will support a growing regional team, including new local payments expertise, as United Fintech scales its delivery and commercial capabilities across Asia-Pacific.
Asia-Pacific spans a wide range of regulatory regimes, currencies and market infrastructure. United Fintech's model, bringing technology businesses onto a single platform and developing them alongside the institutions that use them, gives financial institutions in the region one point of access instead of many separate vendor relationships.
United Fintech expects to announce a number of new client relationships in the region later this year, alongside its continued investment in the Singapore team.
Billingham joins from Droit, where he was Global Head of Consortia, and, before that, spent more than a decade at IHS Markit, building two multimillion-dollar businesses across Singapore, Hong Kong and Japan.
“Asia-Pacific has been one of our fastest-growing regions, and this investment, including new payments expertise in our Singapore office, reflects the traction we are seeing there,” said Christian Frahm, Founder and CEO, United Fintech. “We remain committed to building deep, long-term relationships with the region's financial institutions.”

“APAC combines extraordinary growth potential with extraordinary complexity, and financial firms increasingly need trusted technology partners to navigate it,” said Stuart Billingham, Head of APAC, United Fintech. “United Fintech already supports over 250 institutions across Capital Markets, Asset & Wealth Management and Commercial Banking, helping clients modernise workflows, make better use of data and digitise manual processes such as trade finance.”
